Why did you become a professor?
To teach a subject I enjoy. Being a professor provides one with the ability to do
re搜索 on areas of interest and write occasional op-eds expressing my viewpoints
on different economic topics.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
Helping professionals better understand economics and be able to utilize economics.
What do you hope students gain from your courses?
A working knowledge of economics that helps in their personal and professional lives.
What did you do prior to entering academia?
Worked in the energy industry.

My family and grandchildren.
